Altes Brauhaus(Old Brewery) Hotel, with its relaxed and informal atmosphere, is quietly and yet centrally placed within the protective old city walls, surrounded by the gardens of the old part of the town and romantic timber-frame houses, only 3 minutes walk from the historic market place.
Altes Brauhaus was built in 1698, declared to be a "free imperial brewery" by the magistrate in 1724 and, in 1984 converted into a modern hotel with 65 rooms with a romantic atmosphere and modern luxuries. There is a splendid view from the rooms over the medieval rooftops of Rothenburg or of the picturesque contryside surrounding the town. On request the hotel provides a baby's cot and a fax machine.
The traditional and cultivated hospitality of the excellent kitchen and service staff will make you feel at home. On sunny days, the relaxed atmosphere of our beer garden invites you to sit and relax. |

* Pets are permitted by arrangement. The comfortable romantic rooms, with their original beams, are an open invitation for you to experience history closeup. The large luxury rooms, some of them with a balcony, will ensure a pleasant visit. The three- and four-bed rooms invite families with a longer stay in mind. |
