The budget Ariston Hotel in Florence, in the heart of the city's historical center, is 300 meters from the Saint Ambrogio food market and Piazza Santa Croce. Guests can walk just a little further to visit the Uffizi gallery or the Ponte Vecchio. Patterned bedspreads and simple décor characterize the guestrooms; all 29 have televisions and ceiling fans and toiletries. Private bathrooms are available in 23 of the rooms, the remaining six have an external private bathroom. Extra towels, linens and bedding are also provided in all rooms. Museum tickets can be reserved at the 24-hour front desk, where multilingual staff also provides a safe-deposit box service.
