Lug 26, 2008 City Hotel Ljubljana is situated in the historic centre of Ljubljana. Despite the fact that it is a midddle-sized European city, it maintains the friendliness of a small town, and at the same time all the characteristics of a metropolis.

A few steps from the hotel you will find bus stops and the train station, offering a quick and easy access throughout the city.

In addition to comfortable guestrooms, the property features three meeting rooms, a restaurant and a bar.

The reception, open 24 hours a day, is at your disposal for useful information on the city and its events. You can also ask for free bicycle to venture out in the city and an Internet Point with Wi-Fi connection in the lobby.

Part of City Hotel is currently undergoing renovation; the hotel's main entrance has been temporarily relocated to Tavèarjeva Street. The hotel regrets any inconveniece this may cause guests.

UBICACIÓN

City Hotel lies in the centre of the city and can easily be reached from any of the major roads. To get to the city centre and City Hotel, simply follow the signs leading to the centre. The bus and train stations are about 100 metres away, and there is a city bus stop very close to the hotel. A taxi or shuttle will get you to or from the airport in just under half an hour.

* A continental breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. during the week and between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast can be served directly in your room, on request.

* The hotel's restaurant, with 120 seats, offers a delicious cuisine and a good selection of wines. Buffets, work-lunches and banquets can be organized upon request.

perfect stay

I stayed here for the weekend and I would definetely come back! The hotel was perfect. I liked the large rooms with modern decoration. The hotel was clean and my room was very The hotel was centrally located near main attractions of the city.

Great hotel, quality service

I booked my stay at this hotel through otel.com and i really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel has a wonderful location, the hotel and the rooms are cosy and clean, staff is very friendly... It was in December when me and my friend stayed there, unfortunately it wasn't the best time for exploring the city so we stayed at the hotel enjoying the relaxing ambiance. Our room was in good size, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. We enjoyed the meals at the restaurant epecially the dishes from Slovenian cuisine, delicious! I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to receive good quality service with affordable prices.

City Hotel - a terrific weekend stay

We stayed in City Hotel Ljubljana for a short weekend break. The hotel is right in the city center as the name of the hotel implies. The hotel itself is very contemporary and clean. Our double room was very cozy, modern and clean. Decor of a Easyjet orange but it's very pleasing on the eye with good quality duvets and pillows and covers was very much enjoyed. Breakfast on first morning a bit busy and noisy - it's in the very big entrance foyer and there appeared to be a big, big tour staying in the hotel but there was still loads to eat and drink and lots of variety. All in all, we were left so much pleased with our stay at City Hotel so that we would definitely come back, City hotel is quite modern and well worth staying at but yet not particularly cheap. But we were just delighted.

Good hotel in good location

This is a very good hotel in a good location, though not particularly cheap, I'd say. The room was good and clean - smoking still allowed too - the breakfast selection was excellent. My only grumbles were the lack of air-conditioning. Overall, good hotel for it's location.

Perfect...

We stayed at a double room in the new reopened part of the hotel. Perfect room with a lot of space also in the bathroom. The doors are slamimg a little bit loud, but the rest is perfect. The location in the city perfect !!

Good value for money

The hotel was under renovation when I stayed there, but everything was done to minimise disruption. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and decently-sized. The room I was in had a recently renovated bathroom. Good buffet breakfast. Free bottle of water every day. The hotel was ideally situated at about 2 mins walk from the centre (Triple Bridge) of Ljubljana. All-in-all good value for money.

The Hotel is Excellent!!!

The hotel is excellent! There have been a lot of disruptions over the last couple of years as they have gone thru a total renovation while staying open - fortunate for me - and I think many others. The staff is extremely helpful in a sincere way and will help with all kinds of matters - not just related to the hotel. Accomodations just fine - rooms might be said to be small - at least in the old part.The breakfast is almost without comparison - on a world class. The location is absolutely wonderful - a 2 block walk and you are smack in the center of one of the most photogenic places on this earth.

Under renovation

This Hotel is undergoing major changes, whilst not closed it is making a good job of coping with the major upheaval. One half is being demolished, the other half has already been rebuilt. The room was a bit small but functional. The dining room has been closed for the last few years except for breakfast. The room rate is high considering the conditions.
