* A Caribbean-style street of brightly colored shops runs between Riu Merengue Hotel and Riu Bachata Hotel. The street includes an art gallery, clothing boutiques, craft shops, a pharmacy, a pool room, a photo studio/lab, a hair salon, a medical center, a fitness center, and a spa with a unisex sauna.

* Open 4 PM–3 AM (hours subject to change), a casino, El Millon, contains slot machines, electronic-poker machines, and three blackjack, one Caribbean Stud Poker, and two roulette tables. Drinks at El Millon are not part of the All-inclusive plan for this Puerto Plata hotel.

* Los Almendros - This is the resort's main restaurant. It offers buffet-style dining and on-the-spot cooking stations. Theme dinners are served twice a week. Supervised children’s section at dinner.

* Mangu - Open-air restaurant/bar serving late-morning Continental breakfast daily and light-meal/snack buffet all afternoon. Bar open from late morning to late night.

* Italian Restaurant - Half of Mangu restaurant becomes this à la carte dinner restaurant nightly. Reservations required. Dress code: No T-shirts.
