The hotel was originally founded in 1870 by César Ritz with Auguste Escoffier. 41 rooms are individually designed in the original Empire style with great attention to detail. Stylish “Fin du Sciecle” grandezza, combined with traditional values and modern style, located directly at the Lake of Lucerne. The “Restaurant Le Trianon” offers you an elegant ambiance and a choice of international and innovative delicacies. At the restaurant “Il Padrino” you will find Italian cuisine and an exquisite wine list in a Mediterranean atmosphere and the “Thai Lotus” serves delicious food from the Far East. Spoil yourself and enjoy the spectacular view on the lake and the panorama of the Alps of central Switzerland. Whether you are on business or on a private holiday, the courteous staff will look forward to welcome you. Situated directly on the lakeside promenade, it offers easy access to the old city, all important sights, shopping area, culture and convention centre (KKL) and the railway station. From the hotel there are views across the lake to the Alps and one can see the famous mountains Rigi, Stanserhorn and Pilatus. Please note that all of the rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted in the public areas of the hotel.
