Many sites of interest such as the Technopark, the Musical Theater, the Schiffbau Theater and the Cinemax are within walking distance. Within easy reach are also the Art Gallery, the Opera House and the charming Lake of Zurich.

This hotel with its very personal character offers an excellent hospitality that makes guests feel really comfortable.

UBICACIÓN

Hotel Senator is located in a residential area which is a 10 minute drive from the city centre and the main railway station. There are also regular transport links from the hotel to the centre of town.

nice stay

My boyfriend and I spent 3 days there. The hotel is well located near the train station and attractions. Rooms are good with many amenities. The hotel is clean. Staff is polite. We would stay again

Comfortable stay

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 days in March 2008. We booked a double room through otel.com and had made some research about the hotel before booking so we knew what to expect from the hotel. Well, when we got there we found the hotel just as we expected. Nice hotel with affordable price! The hotel was easy to find and the city center was within easy reach with public transport. Our room was clean and tidy. It had enough living space and the bathroom facilities were good. The American buffer breakfast we were offfered was fresh and tasty. Hotel restaurant was ok. Bar and terrace were cosy and they were ideal for relaxation after spending a whole day in the city center exploring the city. Well, we had a comfortable stay at this hotel and I can say that is ideal for the ones who needs a nice place to stay in Zurich.

Pleasant stay

Dear travelers; I may strongly recommend the stay at this hotel. Starting from the friendly and helpful staff ending with the quiet and strategic location ( near the tram station; and 7 mins to the main train station). Good location and nice clean accommodation

This was my first time I stayed at Hotel Senator. The hotel is located in an industrial part of Zurich, about 10 minutes from the main train station by tram. The hotel staff was friendly and helful. The room and ensuite bathroom were well-sized and very clean. Moreover, the water pressure was sufficient. My room had a main road view, therefore very noisy, but after a long day of sightseeing the noise did not disturb me at all. The breakfast was not excellent but was very basic. All in all, Hotel Senator was a good value hotel, if you are looking for a place close to main train station which is also very clean and nice, then Hotel Senator is one of the hotels that is one of the choices in this regard.

Price-value ratio was excellent

For our 5 days holiday, we travelled to Zurich and booked a room at Hotel Senator. Prior to our trip we have read mixed reviews about the hotel, and we were not sure of what to expect. However, we'd say that Hotel Senator well worths the value it offers. The reception staff were excellent in terms of their friendliness and eager to help at any time. The room I was allocated to was in the back that provided not the best view you would wish but at least with no noise that garanteed a pleasant sleep at night. The breakfast was not excellent but good enough. The location was very convenient, just 10 min to the main train station that takes you anywhere you wish within the Zurich and Europe itself. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Senator, it was an excellent value for money hotel.

clean, cool air con, helpful reception

Good room with on-floor air conditioner/heater and bathroom. Polite, helpful reception. Good, basic breakfast. A bit far from the centre of Zurich although there were a few restaurants & bars around. Beer garden 2 streets away offered best value for money meal (stick to their daily special).
