Situated on a golf course, Hotel Hamar is a relaxing retreat with a focus on leisure pursuits. In the west of the country, it’s surrounded by a host of natural beauty and fascinating attractions but is just an hour’s drive from Reykjavik. The regions natural beauty shines out, both in and around the hotel, with great mountain views from the restaurant and cosy bar. A breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant from 07:30 to 10:00am. Each guestroom has doors opening out into the hotel grounds, providing great access and comfort. Added to this, there’s a host of in-room features, with under-floor heating keeping guests warm, whatever the weather. Such activities as snowmobiling and whale watching in the region provide lasting memories of guests’ stay but, and the hotel also offers hot tubs for an ultimate relaxing treat, where guests can unwind after an exciting day. |
