Inextricably linked to the success and growth of Manchester, Midland Hotel has witnessed some of the greatest meetings of the 20th Century, notably that of Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce leading to the creation of Rolls Royce Limited.

The hotel is right in the centre of all the action because Manchester has literally grown up around it.
