Point Pleasant Resort is on beautiful Water Bay, overlooking the Caribbean Sea, from the northeast end of St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The views are breathtaking- all the way to the British Virgin Islands. Point Pleasant Resort is situated 6 miles from Charlotte Amaile.
Ferry service to St. John and the other Virgin Islands departs from the town of Red Hook, 3 miles west of Point Pleasant Resort. Approximate driving time from Cyril E. King /St. Thomas International Airport (STT) to the Antilles Point Pleasant Resort is 20 minutes and distance is 9 miles.
St. Thomas- Cruise ships dock near Charlotte Amalie, the US Virgin Islands’ capital and largest city. Popular city attractions include Blackbeard’s Castle, Main Street, and the 99 Steps. Magens Bay, considered one of the most beautiful beaches, is on the north end of St. Thomas, as is Mahogany Run Golf Course. On the east end, Coral World and the Mangrove Lagoon provide glimpses into the rich marine life. |

You'll enjoy award-winning dining at the hotel's two restaurants, The Agave restaurant and Fungi's on the beach, which are ranked among the finest of all St Thomas resorts eateries. The emphasis is on fish, lobster and crab legs, but excellent pasta dishes, steaks, sauces, desserts and a children's menu are all handcrafted from the scratch kitchen.
* Recreation:
A nature trail leads down to small, secluded Sugar Beach. A 50-yard waterfront path provides access to the larger Pineapple Beach. Both offer soft sands, calm waters, and serene views. Three 55-foot-long pools bordered by wooden sundecks provide freshwater swimming at the resort's beachfront, middle, and hilltop levels. The middle-level sundeck features views of a green valley; other sundecks offer ocean views.
* If you're new to the Caribbean and its warm clear sea, you may want to try the introductory scuba lessons, or use the watersport equipment available at the resort. But don't forget the resort's three pools, with acres of lounge space, and two beaches for just taking it easy.
